I can actually say that, right? I mean Lionel Ritchie and Adele don't own that word, huh? I am finally initiating my blog which seems appropriate in this week of Thanksgiving. Although, I suppose Native Americans and turkeys don't really celebrate too much. I don't want to get too preachy or sappy but I do have soooo much to be thankful for. I have a wonderful, awesome ,close family and friends who continue to support my journey. Each of us have our own unique story and journey. We might just call this life. But I think a journey, or at least my journey, is much more than living. It encompasses searching, exploring, creating, growing, trying, failing, risk taking, helping others,learning, listening and forever and ever,working on oneself. Oh yes....and practice...practice on the mat...practice off the mat and teaching.....on the mat and off the mat...and listening...did I mention listening...to myself...to others...trying to be the best I can be...I'm not always sure what that is...and not losing my true self and my one and only (not so soft ) voice! Yes...I will own that! So I want to thank all of you in my life who have enriched my journey and taught me things along the path (even when I didn't want to listen)...I am truly grateful.
